How Account Creation Works

Xyon AI uses anonymous authentication for seamless onboarding:

1. Open the app on any supported platform
2. Your account is automatically created with a unique ID
3. Your ID persists across app reinstalls
4. Link your email later for cross-device access

How Billing Works

Mobile Platforms (iOS/Android):

Cross-Platform Sync

Your subscription syncs automatically across all platforms when you link your email. Purchase on iOS and use on Windows—your plan follows you everywhere.

Managing Your Subscription

To Cancel:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Xyon AI
• Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Xyon AI
• Web/Desktop: Account Settings → Manage Subscription

How Device Linking Works

Xyon AI uses a secure OTP-based system to link multiple devices to your account. Each device gets a unique Device ID, and you can use your subscription across all linked devices.

Device Limits by Tier

• Free — 1 device
• Basic — 2 devices
• Ultimate — 5 devices

Linking a New Device

1. Open Xyon AI on your primary device
2. Go to Settings → Device Management
3. Tap "Generate Link Code"
4. An 8-digit OTP code will be displayed
5. On your new device, enter this code when prompted
6. The new device is now linked to your account

Managing Linked Devices

View and manage all your linked devices:

• See all devices linked to your account
• View last activity time for each device
• Remove devices you no longer use
• Automatic device ID generation

Removing a Device

1. Go to Settings → Device Management
2. Find the device you want to remove
3. Tap "Remove Device"
4. Confirm the removal

Why Link Your Email?

Linking your email provides important benefits:

• Recover your account if you lose device access
• Sync your subscription across platforms
• Link multiple devices to one account
• Receive important account notifications

Linking Your Email

1. Go to Settings → Account → Link Email
2. Enter your email address
3. Check your inbox for the 8-digit verification code
4. Enter the code in the app within 10 minutes
5. Your email is now permanently linked

Changing Your Email

1. Go to Settings → Account → Change Email
2. Enter your new email address
3. Verify the new email with the code sent
4. Your account is now linked to the new email

Security Features

• SHA-256 Hashing: Verification codes are securely hashed
• 10-Minute Expiry: Codes expire for security
• Rate Limiting: 1 request per minute, max 5 attempts
• Permanent Linking: Once verified, the link is permanent

Understanding Your Quotas

Xyon AI tracks three types of usage:

• Text Messages: Each AI conversation message counts as 1
• Images: Each generated image counts as 1
• Video Seconds: Based on the duration of generated videos

Checking Your Usage

View your current usage in the app:

1. Go to Settings → Usage
2. See your daily usage for each category
3. Track how much quota remains
4. View your subscription tier limits

Daily Reset

All quotas reset automatically at midnight (your local time). Unused quota does not carry over to the next day.

Quota Refunds

If you cancel a request before it completes, your quota is automatically refunded:

• Cancelled text messages → refunded
• Failed image generations → refunded
• Interrupted video generation → seconds refunded

Hitting Your Limit

When you reach your daily limit:

• You'll see a notification about the limit
• Wait until midnight for quota reset
• Or upgrade your plan for higher limits
• Ultimate tier has unlimited usage

Display Settings

• Dark Mode: Toggle between light and dark themes
• Font Size: Adjust text size for readability
• Syntax Highlighting: Enable/disable code highlighting

Conversation Features

• Real-time Streaming: See AI responses as they generate
• Auto-generated Titles: Conversations get smart titles
• Pinned Conversations: Keep important chats at the top

Advanced Settings

Per-Service API Keys:

Power users can add their own API keys:

• Use your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or other API keys
• Bypass quota limits with personal keys
• Keys are stored with encrypted local storage

Choose specific models for each AI service:

• Select from available model versions
• Model lists updated via Firebase Remote Config

Common Issues & Solutions

AI Responses Not Loading

1. Check your internet connection
2. Try a different AI service
3. Clear the app cache and restart
4. Check if you've hit your daily quota
5. Update to the latest app version

Subscription Not Showing

1. Ensure you're signed in with the correct account
2. Go to Settings → Restore Purchases
3. Wait a few minutes for sync to complete

Device Linking Failed

1. Ensure the OTP code hasn't expired
2. Generate a new 8-digit code
3. Check you haven't reached your device limit
4. Verify both devices have internet connection

Email Verification Code Not Received

1. Check your spam/junk folder
2. Wait a few minutes and check again
3. Ensure you entered the correct email
4. Wait 1 minute before requesting a new code
5. Try a different email address

Images/Videos Not Generating

1. Check your daily quota for images/video
2. Ensure stable internet connection
3. Try a simpler or shorter prompt
4. Wait and retry—AI services may be busy
5. Try a different generation service

App Running Slowly

1. Close other running applications
2. Restart the app
3. Restart your device
4. Check available storage space
5. Update to the latest version

• Take a screenshot of the error
• Note what action triggered it

A: You keep access to your paid tier until the end of the billing period, then revert to the Free tier. Your conversations and history are preserved.

A: Yes, each AI conversation maintains full context. The AI remembers what you discussed earlier in the same conversation.

Q: Can I use my own API keys?

A: Yes, contact support to request account deletion. All your data will be permanently removed.

Q: Does Xyon AI sell my data?

A: No. We never sell your personal data or conversation history to third parties.

Q: Why do I see "streaming" in responses?
